CLICK to learn locations, times and other details

OPTION 1:  Thurs, May 3 - National Day of Prayer Service, 12:00 noon at Brown's Market Pavilion 8892 Susquehanna Trail, Loganville

Brown's Market Pavilion will host a National Day of Prayer service on this First Thursday in May (5-3). This event is where all prayer ministries and teams come together once a year to pray for our County, Commonwealth, City of York, and County of York. Everyone is welcome. In the event of inclement weather, the service will go indoors at Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main St. in Loganville.

OPTION 2:  A second service is planned for the same day, but at 7PM in the auditorium in the Dallastown Area School District Intermediate School.  This is located at 94 Beck Rd. York, PA 17403

Please join us at one or both of these services

ALL ARE WELCOME

If you can't make it to either service, here is a National Day of Prayer - Personal Prayer Guide for your use.

Almighty God, who hast given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favor and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindred and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in thee to fail; all which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Taken from the 1928 (American) version of the "Book of Common Prayer"

After you have prayed for our Nation you might pray for:

And you should close your prayer with the Lord’s Prayer.

Thank you for taking part in this year’s NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER.

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalms 118:24),

Please feel free to print this out and take it with you to work or where ever you may be going.

In Gods Love,

Pastor Wayne Shamer
